832558 2009-11-22 19:56:00 I have an ex- server machine which came preinstalled with Windows Server 2003 but now the owner wants XP Pro installed (long story, but can't reinstall Win Serv 2003).
I have installed XP but now cant find any XP drivers anywhere.(tried HP, Google etc).
Evidently it can be done. The Motherboard is a Wistron M81IXA. Intel ID2588 & ATI Rage.
Can anybody point me to some drivers please?

832559 2009-11-22 22:02:00 According to this guy (forums11.itrc.hp.com 353475&threadId=1264867) you can use the 2003 drivers (h20000.www2.hp.com). However this says it doesnt support XP (www.fixya.com) Speedy Gonzales (78)

832562 2010-01-16 10:27:00 Hi guys,
I am too trying to install Win XP (home) on a HP Proliant ML110 (G2 serie, though) and I didn't managed to install Win Server2003 drivers. The installer for network doesn't want to run "The software is not supported for installation on this system"
I can extract driver files but I have only two unknown devices Windows Device Manager : "Serial Multiport PCI Controller" and "Unknown PCI Bridge Device" (approx. translation from french) and the driver files are not when send the driver updater to their folder.:dogeye:

Is there an other way to install the drivers?

Thx
