1446941 2018-03-03 04:09:00 Hi Folks
Have been clearing out my late mother in law's effects
and found this strange device.
Does anyone know what it could be for?
Metal construction with a Nylon rack and pinion that moves two tongues of metal back and forth in the
centre cavity, covered with thick plastic coating

Thanks:)

Can’t see the corkscrew so thought it might be broken off. ?????????

1446945 2018-03-03 07:10:00 I use to use similar - a shoe horn basically a metal "scoop" like a oversize spatula.. Often for hard leather type shoes, to stretch them a little. Because the "right" size was not available. kahawai chaser (3545)

1446950 2018-03-11 03:33:00 Well seeing we don’t seem to have a definite answer yet I’ll go from far left field.

Was your Late Mother-in-law ever a “Dog Breeder” Dave?
