| 1446588 | 2018-02-22 02:09:00 | I went down last week cause my mum fell off a nearly metre high ledge onto concrete. She said her arm wouldn't work and she felt like sitting on the floor bawling. Now my mum to say that means it's major.....this from a woman who passed kidney stones at home and refused to go to hospital, had a raging intestinal infection and ignored it until I rang an ambulance....so I know my mum must have been in a lot of pain. Anyway I made her go for a scan, she wasn't going to, I thought she'd trashed her back, 45 years of arthritis in it, it's pretty wrecked already. But no, apparently she just ripped the tendons off her bicep and scapula. She has refused surgery (they won't anyway cause of her age) so is going to get steroid injections now. At least, while I was there, I succeeded in ripping her gardens out, redoing them all with groundcover type plants and such, so the outdoors she won't need to worry about now... |
