1446244 2018-02-13 02:51:00 I think the pink one is hibiscus and the white one is a camelia. Marnie (4574)
1446245 2018-02-13 03:13:00 No, Marnie. I don't think so. Very sure the pink one is not hibiscus and the other one is not camelia. bk T (215)
1446246 2018-02-13 03:25:00 Don't know the pink one, but the white one looks to be a Gardenia (if it is, it should have a good scent). KarameaDave (15222)
1446247 2018-02-13 03:30:00 I have gardenias, camellias and hibiscus growing here. I did wonder whether the white could be gardenia but my one has smaller leaves. If it ever stops raining I will go outside and study them more carefully.

Double post, sorry.

I am just looking again at the pink one, the flowers do seem to be in a cluster whereas my hibiscus flowers are just individual ones. KarameaDave is right about a gardenia having a sweet scent.

1446249 2018-02-13 03:46:00 According to Google, the white one is Gardenia, both the flower and leaves look 99% identical.

Just went out, confirmed that it has no scent!

1446250 2018-02-13 03:48:00 Looks like a gardenia to me...they do have varieties of them, jine are not the same as neighbours, hers bigger and double flowers, mine single.

Ditto Hibiscus, I have a flower that looks nothing like Hibiscus, but I have found it is....doesn't have that centre bit.

But this looks a little small....

1446251 2018-02-13 03:58:00 The pink is a vireya (a tropical Rhododendron) and the white is a gardenia. Bryan (147)
