| 1446148 | 2018-02-10 09:16:00 | Planning to travel for a month in europe but I'm not sure which option to choose. Go to Europe and then buy a sim there or rent a pocket wifi or an orange holiday europe sim? Planning to travel around Europe for a few weeks and there's been mixed reviews on most of the products like carrier three and orange. Does anyone have any experience which one is the best? We would like to use mobile data only , 10GB max? Thanks |

If it is the latter, maybe you can look for Europe wide SIMs when you are there, will be more costly or else you can use Vodafone or Telecom XT I think it works also with prepay. XT you get a package of allocated data and mins and text that you can use overseas there is also a unlimited per day as well I think it cost something like $10 per day or something - check the supported countries. Vodafone after paying it means you can use your NZ data and mins and text as if you are overseas, so if you have unused 5GB of data you can use this when you are overseas, you can also get on a higher data allowance for that month or two and use more .... Skinny and 2Degrees don't really do roaming international. 2Degrees really only have packages to AU and then it is like $20 per MB. |
