1445859 2018-02-02 21:57:00 I have a very varied ear when it comes to listening to music.

not a great fan of metal. but like most rock / pop and some orchestra stuff, blues, and sweet stuff in between.
not a huge fan of rap but do like some.

on my favorites you tube list is many hours and hours of listening...........

so am wondering what the pf1 crew listen too?

today stumbled across split enz again......... and am listening to the 50 songs or somesuch thing you tube says they have in video form. started with Message to my girl........ wow lots of memories on that one. :wub

My most often played musician is Adele at the moment. or a mix of rock stuff on the hour travel a day to work, and the hour travel home from work :waughh:

so lets hear it peeps, what are your favourites ? or what are you listening to currently ?

1445862 2018-02-02 23:18:00 I end up with a split personality music wise, I collect a lot of mellow rock classics and other easy listening pop that I like on my phone so I can play it at work and not annoy any one too much.
But at Home I am a big fan of metal but not the Growly stuff (I refuse to use all the ridiculous sub genre names they come up with)

Some favourites I think people should check out that are possible lesser known here, no point mentioning I like Metallica really as everyone is familiar with that group :)
Savatage www.youtube.com metal with a touch of the melodic and orchestric occasionally sneaking in
Trans Siberian Orchestra www.youtube.com - more of a rock opera stage show than a group really and with some of the same crew as Savatage. Among other things they have four massively popular Xmas albums
Overkill www.youtube.com classic old school metal, pretty popular and about as heavy as my tastes go

And some other bands I regularly listen to you may know
Nightwish
Within Temptation
Halestorm
The pretty reckless (hard to believe that's the little girl from the Grinch movie)

So yeah, rock and metal mainly but I don't mind some more popular music and won't hate on Adele.
