| 1445791 | 2018-02-01 09:32:00 | Ever since I switched to Gmail on my computer for our family account Gmail has wanted to make my personal phone account take over the whole email system. As reccomended I was able let that happen(somehow) and attach the family account as a secondary account this has worked OK apart from a few complications on security, but now the whole family account has gone!! I can't log in as any attempt produces the phone login account. I don't use the phone account for all intents and purposes, except for travel purposes which is not so much these days. I can't really delete the account as it is bundled with other functions on the phone. Gmail website support is a joke unless you have about 1 of 10 possible problems and are prepared for plenty of endless loops. The ideal solution would be My phone would have its own account not connected to the PC account and vice/versa, otherwise get back to piggy backing on the phone account as a shared/secondary account. Any solutions welcome. Please keep it simple and detailed if possible, I don't want to get hung on those loops again. |
