1446548 2018-02-21 08:34:00 Adding to above,----- The only reason I have a Switch is because there are several devices requiring the Speakers ( easier to flick a switch than plug unplug). If its only 1 device required ( headphones) the there shouldn't be any reason you cant plug them into the decoder Via an adapter. :)

I do have another switch which has 4 ports ( somewhere), I thought that was the one connected, but its only the 3 port.

I have ordered this:

www.trademe.co.nz

So that, plugged into the Sky box, should work right?

The setup I have is Decoder ----- Switch ---- Speakers. The switch is only there to save unplugging the plugs to get the other devices working.

The Audio out on the Decoders is meant to be supplying to what ever is connected.

The Speakers have their own power source ( as they all do) Headphones generally get fed from the outlet.

1446552 2018-02-22 02:36:00 I had this problem some years ago.........the answer is just a few dollars..............no need to go expensive...........Very interesting. Pity I hadn't had this information before I purchased some expensive Sennheiser wireless phones.!! Those phones look very cheap. Pato (2463)

Don't be fooled by the apparent price, that shown is just for a cable :clap

The actual phones and sender when you go to 'select' are around $14, still very cheap though.

They work very well. The sound quality probably wouldn't be as good as for higher priced systems, but for the sort of music I listen to (1920s/30s 78 rpm records streamed at 32 kbs mono :waughh:) and plain ordinary mono TV, they're adequate.

Just looked up those devices, both aliexpress and wish.com have them as well, ranging from $11 - $20 (NZ) + some free postage others around $4-$8.

Got a couple of cheapish Headphones from Wish last year, while not maybe as good as some high priced, perfectly good enough :)
