| 1444784 | 2018-01-12 09:29:00 | That hasn't worked in W7 for a while now. BUT there is a way I've used in the past, its a bit "mickey mouse" but sometimes gets the job done. 1st install Firefox -- When it offers to import favorites and passwords logins allow it making sure passwords are selected. If FF is already installed, go to Bookmarks (along the top -assuming the menu options are there) -- Show all bookmarks -- import and backup - import data from another Browser --Select IE,make sure all are ticked. Once imported - go to Tools - Options -- Privacy and Security - Save Logins: 8639 Bottom Right - click show passwords - Click yes -- All the imported user names and passwords in full view :) Followed your instructions to install FFox --- the click show passwords option is greyed. Launched IE again - clicked Gmail -- the saved password is gone ...... can't log in now. ...... All gone, now .... |

| 1444786 | 2018-01-13 06:49:00 | We managed to go through the Gmail password recovery process, and to my surprise, he could answer all those 'questions' correctly, including, what's your dog's name, (he had a dog when he was a child), etc., and a log in password was sent to another email address. Thank you folks for all the suggestions. |

Launched IE again - clicked Gmail -- the saved password is gone ...... can't log in now. ...... All gone, now .... Importing the details from another browser wont cause them to disappear. If anything is grayed then they didn't import correctly. What can cause them to disappear is if you run Ccleaner and haven't save the cookies in ccleaner options first. |
