If another bridge opened, there'd be less potential customers crossing his bridge. They probably pay tolls on his bridge as well, so those might reduce. 20 years of interference and retardation of their infrastructure all because of some elderly millionaire who I'm sure could live out the rest of his days happily on his own savings, but couldn't bear the thought that his profits might decrease. I'm firmly of the belief that money acts on the mind the same way that highly addictive drugs do. |
