Ken once again this shows what i mentioned. the "mass killing" as used in that is for federal investigation. basically it opens up extra funds and manpower to investigate incidents, so states don't reduce investigations due to budget restraints. it does not necessarily mean they call all incidents with 3 dead people a mass killing. again one of the issues is there is no set standard and that gets manipulated by all sides. it makes comparing data from around the world very difficult. of course thats why anti-gun lobby groups do that. bad data means they can make any claim they want. then of course the push back to that from pro-gun lobby groups. of course it all degrades and becomes a political scrap rather than being about gun safety. its no different to EV fan boys talking BS about how good EV's are. facts are irrelevant when your talking to people who don't know anything about it. |
