2022-06-06 23:42:00 | No Problems here with that, when the Mrs works from home ( 3 out of 5 days) its on a My Supplied computer, if I want to know what she's upto I just ask :D But seriously though, good AV or firewalls will detect and able to stop outgoing "Snooping" unless its been set to ignore. Bit of tape over the cam stops a mountain of viewing, and key loggers again should be detected. Maybe if her boss actually saw how much extra she has to do to sort out other peoples stuff ups on forms / problems she may just get a pay rise. ;)

2022-06-07 03:07:00 | That's work equipment, and fair enough too. Personally, I just log onto a cecure connection using Citrix workspace. So they can see everything going on in that remote environment down to every keystroke is recorded. If I need a break I just minimise the citrix environment window, and can browse whatever or game as usual without them noticing (except they notice I am not active on Teams of course) | the_bogan (9949) | |
2022-06-07 03:13:00 | That's work equipment, and fair enough too. I don't think so. Productivity increased not the other way round. Spyware shouldn't be used, ever. They can tell if you are slacking by the amount of work you have accomplished.

2022-06-07 03:22:00 | Don't even need "spyware" as such, my old job uses skype for interoffice calling and it shows you if someone's away and for how long etc. I'll admit when I was working from home I used some software to keep my pc and skype awake so it looked like I was always at my desk.

2022-06-07 04:48:00 | "Recent research indicated that up to 80 percent of organisations" "In Australia, it's even higher - 90 percent." I would call BS on that Ive never seen it once , on the many companies my work does IT support for More internet BS , zero fact checking by 'reporters' Add to that , the many privacy laws . Its a lawsuit waiting to happen , unless the staff were told in advance . Laptop camera comes on & management see staffers naked wife getting dressed in the background, ring up some millions when they sue in the US :) some quick fact checking .... google "The article quotes Peter Holland who is probably paraphrasing his own article which references another news article which references a Gartner article which has an estimate based on a survey of 239 large corporations." So yerp. Its BS .
