| 718155 | 2008-11-06 22:16:00 | Nice!! How much space depends on what you're going to use it for I guess. This (www.trademe.co.nz) looks like a reasonable deal, especially if you buy all 3? Would make a nice NAS box!! :D |

| 718156 | 2008-11-06 22:58:00 | Hi bud....I have 3 drive caddy's with 18gb SCSi 3 wide....for a 4 bay backplain, currently have it in my spec below, however they are damn slow to boot, and to be honest not up to new SATA ll speed....so will put them back in the server. It has 2 x 1Ghz coppermine Plll's and 2GB RAM.....dual NIC's blah blah....however, would like to put our storage in there, I have a iomega 72Gb tape drive with about 20 tapes. Probably put exchange 2007 on also.......hang on, thats 64bit isnt it....dang!...will have to be 2003 then, as I have xtra pro, i can get static address .....all i gotta do is get some disk space on the server and connectivity from office to the garage for network.... | SolMiester (139) | ||
