718754 2008-11-15 12:21:00 I have spent my life repairing faulty equipment for a very reasonable charge and returning them to their owner for a fair price, this is my contribution to the well-being of NZ, what do you do that is of real benefit to the country, and I don't mean giving us comforting words and such like, I mean generating real physical products which people can use.
We have no way of ascertaining as to if you charged a reasonable price or not. As someone said you are full of piss and wind.

Therein lies half the problem. It appears that in your world view, only those that actually produce products add real benefit to a country. Is no credit given to anyone who provides a service?

Does that mean people like doctors or teachers or firefighters who don't actually "produce" anything don't count?

Sure, they get paid but it is in no way proportional to the work they do.

718761 2008-11-15 21:35:00 I view service providers such as accountants and lawyers as a necessary evil, not quite parasitic but getting their/there haha.

However, that is an aside on the topic that the foxes are now in control of the hen house and you seem to think that this is a good thing.

This is just a wind up by Z. The old school British union philosophy died here with the scum Tom Skinner and the arrival of Maggie T.
No longer do we hear English accents from union leaders when sectors were going to go on strike.
No more out brothers etc, The socialist dream died, just a few numbnuts hanging on by their finger nails.
