Communism to dumb ignorant old me is the doctrine written by Mr Karl Marx, refined by Messrs Lenin and Trotsky and adopted by the labour party. Just because some countries like Russia, China, Cuba adapted their version with a few extras (like killing people etc) dosent mean the labour party aint commies they are commies. Same red colour same party song Jugoslavia and Chile as 2 examples had nice commo governments but still commie regime like Clark and her party. Commie is Commie just like Ford is the best car. |

You are obviously just a child. Here's some background for you: Stalin forced rapid industrialization of the largely rural country and collective farming by confiscating the lands of farmers. Millions were killed, exiled to Siberia, or died of starvation after their land, homes, meager possessions, and ability to earn an existence from the land were taken to fulfill Stalin's vision of massive "factory farms". While the Soviet Union transformed from an agrarian economy to a major industrial powerhouse in a short span of time, millions of people died from hardships and famine that occurred as a result of the severe economic upheaval and party policies. At the end of 1930s, Stalin launched the Great Purge, a major campaign of political repression. During his continued repressions, millions of people who were a threat to the Soviet politics or suspected of being such a threat were executed or exiled to Gulag labor camps in remote areas of Siberia or Central Asia, where many more died of disease, malnutrition and exposure. Stalin's rule fought real and alleged opponents mainly through the security apparatus, such as the NKVD. You compare our Labour politicians to Stalin among others. You are lucky to live in a country where making any remark you like about a political party is ignored, instead of resulting in your arrest, torture and murder, and the arrest of your family members. My family has had some direct experience of living in a real communist country, my grandfather was sent to a Gulag where he managed to just survive. My mother escaped eventually and came to NZ. She never saw any of her family there again. Why don't you take some time to think about what you say before making ridiculous remarks. Some people did have very unpleasant lives, unlike you. |

His was a dream of sharing the wealth it was just anti capitalism. The labour party on NZ was formed on the coast based on commie principles. In simplistic terms we the miners are the good guys and the mine owners are bad people |
