| 718818 | 2008-11-08 22:23:00 | Yes Helen Clark has probibly been the best PM we have had since the days of Sir Keith Holyoake and time well till if John Keys can stand up to that reputation. Don't forget that. :) Now that the "reds under the bed" loonies on this site have had their say, some balance is coming back into view... This article is a reasonably balanced view of the person who I think to have been the best PM we have had for decades: www.stuff.co.nz And the country agreed for three terms, so it isn't just my opinion. In that time, how many leaders have National had? I can think of Shipley, Bolger, English, Brash, and Key. That in itself says something about the quality of leadership that the government has had under Helen Clark, and the lack of quality in the tories. It is pretty sick to see all the comments being made about her gender, her sexual orientation, and the commie bashing. She is as far away from being a communist as any of the National leaders listed above, with the possible exception of Brash who was right of Genghis Khan, and Key who is a nothing - we still have no idea what he stands for. He reminds me of the penguins in that film "Madagascar" - "Smile and wave boys, smile and wave". What is behind that sickly smile - not an intellect, that is for sure. |

Now let's hope the moronic Labour voters like yourself move to Australia, so we can have a good few years without a socialist dictatorship. :clap |

I do hope the nats do a better job and tidy up inhouse before they get on the way. As for the mocking of JK, whats the time span? 2 months? |

If a lot of people had not wasted their votes on the Misfits of Minority Parties then Helen would have gone down even further. This was the result that we should have had last time. The best part was an overwhelming message to Winston to go get a life outside politics. |

| 718826 | 2008-11-08 23:16:00 | National Now have 3 years to "get things right" - In other word's - they say they can do this that or the other promised everything. The country has given them the chance. - Now prove it. If they don't then the country will boot them out. Only time will tell. |

| 718827 | 2008-11-08 23:34:00 | What is with the people mentioning communist party? They have obviously NEVER been to a country where the country is under communist rule and how badly the people suffer under that regime. I have driven many bus tours through most of the Eastern Block countries when it was under Communist rule and New Zealand is so far removed from that type of politics. None of our Political parties are anywhere close to Communism. |
