Then again,it might be wise to wait for windows 7.

718366 2008-11-07 22:45:00 What is wrong with Ctrl-PrintScreen etc. I forget the exact key codes as I have been using Linux for a couple of years or more but using a combination of PrintScreen and other keys you can get the dialog box,Window or complete screen in the clipboard ready to paste into Paint or whatever.
Alt + PrintScreen.

Terry: CaptureIt initially gave me the impression it does OCR as well, but that turned out to be false. Otherwise, it is a good handy tool.

Cheers :)

718368 2008-11-07 23:41:00 Do you have OneNote 2003/2007?

If you do it comes with a screen clipping tool.

So it does! Thanks for that :)

Nothing wrong with the PrintScreen button, unless you would prefer to use something a little more sophisticated and selective. And would like to edit something other than a huge BMP file.
