Do not listen to this kid.

If you really care about your country, and you are unsure who to give your vote to, or you don't want to vote, please vote for the Maori party.

Why?

They are going to create an overhang of seats in parliament, which ultimately means more politicians and more wasted money on bureaucracy. If enough people give a throwaway vote to the Maori party, you will be helping your country save money without really affecting the outcome of the election.

Please consider it. I know I spout a lot of bull**** on these forums, but for once I'm not joking.

Tomorrow, New Zealand, give your party vote to the Maori party!

Wow, someone can't take a joke.

718406 2008-11-07 07:42:00 A lot of people are going to vote for the Bill and Ben party, and other minor parties that have no chance of winning an electorate seat or get 5%, and I'd much rather see those wasted votes going to reduce the number of MPs. roddy_boy (4115)
718407 2008-11-07 07:53:00 I am voting National MP Tau Henare even though the homosexual Chris Carter will probaly get back in.
Party vote I havent made up my mind, National or Act but leaning towards National only because Rod dropped Crystal in dancing with the stars.

Whoa, easy on the hate there. Whats wrong with him being gay???

718409 2008-11-07 09:58:00 For Heavens sake vote for the party most likely to dump MMP -
Don't go back to FPP - its undemocratic - NZ needs STV - or put simply preferential voting where it is the voters preference that counts - not parties trading preferences as is the case in Aussie. Nevertheless the Aussie system for its faults beats NZ MMP without a doubt,

718411 2008-11-07 13:40:00 I will be voting for the Greens.
Did you know that Russel Norman is an Aussie that was a member of the communist party over there and Kieth Lockes father was a communist member in NZ and his leanings are deffinately in the same direction.

718413 2008-11-07 18:26:00 Yes two ticks for National from Me (I am in Winstone's electorate)

I really hope National wins for the country's sake.

We have to get rid of Helen, and Cullen and those xtreme Greenies.

But I am very disappointed with the people who ring up on talk back and say they are voting labour cos their parents did, they are voting for Winnie because he has not had a fair go, and they are voting greens cos they want to save the world. So in the words of my favorite General - Wellington "it could be a darn close run thing !"
