833120 2009-11-25 00:24:00 Yeah, but if it is cheaper and easier to get onother graphics card and crossfire or sli them than find some obscure item from holland Gobe1 (6290)
833121 2009-11-25 01:18:00 £8 (including shipping) for the ShadowCard from eBay seems pretty damn cheap to me

Even if you had to get it sent to a relative\friend in a different country first, it would still be cheap.

I'd do it if I wanted one.

But if you want to stop that hassle, you could buy direct from their website:
www.bios-service-center.com

They should do direct to NZ if you buy there... and payment with PayPal is easy

833122 2009-11-25 01:28:00 So try Iway. Worst that can happen is they say no pctek (84)

If you have a friend in Australia who can get it for you, or if you can convince that guy to send it to NZ, you might be in luck!
I registered at Ebay and bought the Shadow Card. Also had to register at Paypal and add my credit card. Striking a bit of trouble because the bank keeps denying me doing this. Not overdrawn or no overdew payment, but I have contacted the bank to see what the matter is. Hope to sought this out because I don't want to be stranded with an incomplete transaction. My first on Ebay.

Probably the bank is just doing something stupid, as usual.

Assuming you provided all the correct details for your card...

833125 2009-11-27 03:24:00 Probably the bank covering their butt to check you actually made these payments. Any payments of a large or out of character nature get questioned by some banks, but they should ring you straight away to confirm the payment is legit. Its also called customer service! PPp (9511)
833126 2009-11-27 03:34:00 When I signed up to Paypal they had to charge me $1 to test my card was working. Perhaps this got blocked as "suspicious" ? Agent_24 (57)

I tried again to link my card for paypal and this time it worked. I am not certain why it worked this time and not before.
I went to the local branch and the teller had not heard of paypal but said my card was good and should work. I had also contacted the bank through email and said basically the same thing as the teller. Told me to try again incase paypal was having problems.
I don't know if I typed the cards expiry date correctly before. I may have misread the year as 2011 instead of 2010.

833128 2009-11-27 04:03:00 I had problems with RS components, forgot to update my card expiry details for the new one, and wondered why it kept telling me there was an error

Hopefully you can get your shadow card now...

Did you manage to convince him to send it to NZ or are you getting someone else to forward it for you?
