They're portable and for the money you get far more sound than with speakers. That's $50/year and amazing quality. My last pair of $150 headphones lasted a year and a half before one of the earpieces broke off. That's $100/year. Or twice as expensive as the better quality ones. Obviously not everyone needs to spend a fortune, just get what your tastes/wallet can handle, but all I'm saying is that an up-front investment can pay off in the long run. |

| 833062 | 2009-11-24 10:44:00 | Yowsers, I had some sub $20 headphone / microphone sets which I got from a store in Otara. They lasted me just under four years. What the hell do you do to them that makes them break? |

| 833066 | 2009-11-25 09:40:00 | Any recommendations for a cheap yet comfortable headset? I remember using some at an internet cafe once that would badly squash my ears... Audio quality doesn't have to be anything special... |

I've heard testimonials from lots of owners that they last donkeys years. Plus they sound AMAZING. You've never heard your music until you hear it through these. Or a nice Hi Fi system. |
