| 833088 | 2009-11-24 07:15:00 | I'm not even sure what you call these things, but does anyone know if you can get spare supplies of the plastic thingies that attach the cooler to the motherboard. I mangled one and fortunately have kept a few spares from old fans, but stocks getting low. And yes I know how to use them but they still get wasted every now and then. | Twelvevolts (5457) | ||

Yep - I can't seem to avoid bending one every now and then, especially with the bigger coolers, the stock one is usually ok. I could use a few more spares but haven't seen them for sale. PS Last week Dick Smith employee claimed to never heard of thermal paste/grease, so heaven knows if you can buy any parts there anymore. |
