| 833109 | 2009-11-24 04:24:00 | I bought an Abit KN8 SLI mainboard from Trade Me. I have never heard of the requirement for a pci-e shadow card before, but this board requires a special card to fit the second pci-e slot when not operating two video cards in sli mode. Is there anyone with a spare one of these? I will pay for it. I have searched with google to try and find a web site or shop for this card but there is nothing. |

What makes you think that the auction stated it needed one? I have never heard of it myself. You are certainly a great help. |

I asked very soon after I received the board. So its not like things changed. But if he has given a months warranty I might have some leeway Here is the original auction. You see that I checked that it had a I/O Backplate. I did not know it needed a Shadow Card or SLI Bridge, so never asked that. Only one or two modells of boards have used such. www.trademe.co.nz |
