721207 2008-11-19 06:44:00 Why dont all you commie labour types take a vacation to Cuba during the tenure of our National government . Just proves the point that some of the national voters who think that National is oh so great and can do no wrong are now finding out that national WILL go back and break election promises just like every other party that's been in power .
But even when its happening right before their eyes they still wont believe it .

NO government will keep every promise - never have never will .

Labour prob would have done the same if they were back in .

Lets just hope for the country's sake that National do manage to do some good .

BUT like its been mentioned before at WHAT COST to other sectors / businesses - only time will tell .

And the Nat voters reveal their total lack of intellectual ability by once again resorting to pathetic and unoriginal ad hominem attacks rather than dealing with the issues . The country is going to hell in a hand cart .

Boo hoo. If you don't like it, then go and live in the UK. Gordon Brown will look after you.

And you blame this on a political party that has been in power for ONE DAY rather than blaming a party that had been leading the country for the preceding NINE YEARS?

721212 2008-11-19 09:09:00 Gee Trev you are going to be busy counting them all over the next few years.

Governments sometimes have to break or amend their promises, due to circumstances and what they believe is best for the country.

721213 2008-11-19 09:16:00 How about we wait a bit before jumping to any sort of conclusions?

I definitely don't like them, but under the current climate how the hell can we expect them to afford to do anything at all? Let alone all of the stuff they promised. They'll have to do the best they can under a crap situation, Labour would have done the same most likely. Especially given that Key is marketing himself as a centrist. In a lot of ways Labour and National are both fairly central parties, and we just don't know what the hell left and right actually are. Which is obvious given the Communist statements here.

The only fiber I'm concerned about coming to my house is fresh veggies, which are too expensive. Govt subsidies for them? They'd probably recoup them in the health sector, and maybe from increased productivity from a healthier, more switched on workforce.

But what the hell do I know? For all I know faster porn and illegal music/games are the key to breaking this financial crisis.

721214 2008-11-19 09:21:00 Governments sometimes keep promises, this usually indicates a bit of absent-mindedness.
They wiil break whatever they wish. Integrity as a policy by the governing party is not even dreamed of by the most woad soaked gnome.
Huh, they hadn't even finished swearing in the ministers and the weather went to the dogs.
