Mango and mixed berries are really good in a morning smoothie along with a bit of honey if you want a extra bit of sweetness. |

We put unsweetened natural yoghurt and a bit of milk in to make it a little less thick. (You can leave that sentence alone Roddy_Boy, or to pre-empt you, I wish we could just add milk to you to achieve the same thing). We also bought a meal replacement powder that bulks it up a bit and makes it a full breakfast. I've been feeling so much better because of it. We use frozen berries, but I put them in the fridge just before I use them so that they have more flavour. We've just run out of raspberries, so down to just blueberries at the moment. But we're going to have as many as we can get our hands on in the next shop. Probably going to start having honey in them soon. They're turning into a real concoction, having started with just bananas and milk. Finally starting to live up to my name, feeling much more monkey-like with far more energy. |
