| 834255 | 2009-11-28 19:32:00 | Rang Telecom at 7AM, issue was still continuing, 7-10% packet loss. Just checked again now, issue appears to have been resolved within the last 45 minutes, though there's still a fair amount of jitter (10ms where there's usually 1ms), but at least it's all getting through now :D | Chilling_Silence (9) | ||

Pings and jitter was alright though 39ms ping 1ms jitter |

| 834257 | 2009-11-28 23:41:00 | I just downloaded then, 1.1MB solid. Telstra cable FTW! Yea but depends how much load the source and its hops has and time of the day can effect that. Thats why trying to test your internet speed with a single source download is worthless ie Speedtest.net. When I was on TC, I could max my 10MB connection at any time of the day multi-source but rarely on a single source download. |

| 834258 | 2009-11-29 01:21:00 | I quite often get 1MB out of it, I know it depends where I'm downloading from etc but torrenting at 800k+ is quite normal. When telstra say 10MB they definitely mean it, 24/7 as far as I can tell. Been with them almost a year and I am yet to have any real slow moments |

Been with them almost a year and I am yet to have any real slow moments Yea Im a huge cable fan over DSl, but you know I moved to a area without it so I get the crap fest that is DSL like most of the counrty lol. Still found most single source downloads could not provide much more than 5MB(as in the site hosting the download), so im a little surprised by your claim. Sure torrenting etc was a solid 1100KBps any time constant showing the REAL performance my connection. |

| 834260 | 2009-11-29 04:23:00 | What do you mean not much more than 5MB? Id never download that, mathmatically its not possible on a 10MB connection? I can probaly take some screenshots to prove if you dont believe the 1.1MB download speed |

| 834261 | 2009-11-30 01:01:00 | Hey i'm still getting disconnected. I get dced for less than 10 seconds and get reconnected again (happens about once every 30mins). I got 4 pcs connected to a DSE switch. All lights still glow when the internet disconnects |

| 834262 | 2009-11-30 02:09:00 | Looks similar to a problem I had some time ago. They eventually changed my "profile' at the exchange - and I have not been able to find out precisely what that means. Had no more disconnects after that. sarel |

| 834263 | 2009-11-30 04:10:00 | In your router dsl line status page, what does it say about your sync speed, and most importantly your signal to noise ratio / SNR margin / attenuation? | Chilling_Silence (9) | ||
