| 719765 | 2008-11-12 10:09:00 | Well I got home last night to find dissappointed children unable to play new game. The disc just wont insert. It didnt take me long to realise little 1 1/2 yr old had learnt a new trick - see how many discs will fit in the PS3!! Anyways thinking there goes more $$ on getting it repaired I googled possible repair sites and found youtube link. One of the first I found was how to disassemble a PS3 blueray drive. Not sure why anyone would post such a thing but I followed video step by step and managed to find four discs and a memory card adaptor in the drive. Once reassembled with fingers crossed I inserted game and all worked well again. :banana I was fortunate that I had special tool bit to remove top cover but apart from that everything else was relatively simple. :clap |

Seriously, when was the last time a mod banned someone who wasn't spamming or being a total retard? VSX brought the worst out in all of us, but he seemed to get some kind of perveted pleasure out of it. :badpc: Maybe one day, when he's left kindy, we may see him again. :D |

Tried playing Mirror's Edge today on a friends PS3, trying to view with those damn stick things is horrible. Where's the mouse when you need one? I'll be glad when the PC version comes out :D |

And since Blizzard have hooked us both, I guess that'll mean two copies.... :rolleyes: :horrified Judging by the work they've put into it so far, it's not going to be a cheap game either! Although, on the positive side, I can probably see a 'need' (= 'good reason') to upgrade the lappie that might coincide with the release date (coincidentally, of course)!! /hijack |
