834323	2009-11-28 04:52:00	Hi. Need Help. After I reinstalled XP Pro SP2 and updated to SP3. There is no System Restore tab on the System Tools and I can't find System restore on the Control Panel either. How can I get the System Restore back? Thanks.	Manimea (15459)

"Insert your Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 CD now" But after I put the xp pro sp2 cd in. It doesn't not work. I tried to start System Restore Service. I clicked on it and clicked Start tab. Got Error Message: Cannot start the System Restore Service on Local computer. If you have configured Windows Explorer to hide known file extensions, the file may show up as SR. Right-click the SR.INF file, and then click Install 4. Windows will now attempt to reinstall System Restore, and may prompt you for the Windows installation source path. What you can try is a repair install from that CD, make sure you have the correct product key - then Follow these instructions (pcsupport.about.com) < that has pictures or These here (michaelstevenstech.com) - Scroll down till you get to XP Repair install, 1-6. Sounds a little like the install didn't go to good - if theres no data on the PC I'd suggest wipe the drive and start again.	wainuitech (129)
