723418 2008-11-27 04:41:00 Hi Guys.
I am just wondering if there is any thing called a Freeview Recorder as I am willing to buy one. If there is such thing where can you buy it from?
thanks...

723419 2008-11-27 04:56:00 Are you wanting to record Freeview|HD via UHF/DVB-T or Freeview via Satellite/DVB-S?
Pretty sure there are no Freeview|HD recorders yet but they are on the way.

Have a look at FreeviewShop.

723421 2008-11-27 06:02:00 There are lots of satellite recorders (even some that will record HD if you can find some HD stations out there, the official Freeview stations that come via satellite are only SD). However, there aren't really that many options for terrestrial. Freeviewshop has one, but that's all that I'm aware of.

Hopefully we'll see a few more models next year (Sony's PlayTV is supposed to be coming out here in the first half of the year).

723422 2008-11-27 07:05:00 I got a Topfeild 320gb HD Freeview Recorder from Retravision.
Works just like a MySky box . Cost 899 and I would rather cut off a finger than do without it. Highly recommended.
