| 721752 | 2008-11-21 06:14:00 | Am looking for a 2.1 speaker system for the PC. Want something that can output with good/great amounts of volume, but won't cost an arm and a leg. Ideas for what I should be looking at (brand - model) Thanks |

| 721755 | 2008-11-21 07:38:00 | I have these from Computer Lounge. Sound great. Had them for over 4 years. They make high end Audiophile speakers as well. www.computerlounge.co.nz :) |

Might be more than you wanted to spend but you can pick up a set for a lot less than the retail price. Customers like them because they go really well plus they have the extra connection so it is easy to connect an MP3 player. |

You really don't need a sub with these. www.pressf1.co.nz Ignore this bit "However I wouldn't recommend them for use as computer speakers as you really need to be at least 1-1.5m back to appreciate the full range of sound. Up close you tend to miss a lot of the low and some of the mid range." I've found that they just needed to be a tad further back (= more than 2 feet from you). |
