| 722023 | 2008-11-23 22:32:00 | Up to 90%. Highly dangerous drink too, wormwood definitely isn't good for you. Most of the time Absinthe is just made using flavouring though, and tonnes of added alcohol. It's a really odd kind of drunk too... sort of hazy and floating and a little bit angry. My mate managed to set himself on fire with it, and my shoes, and the bar, and my friend. Screams all round. Funny as hell, but the sugar burned him pretty bad. A little sorry looking the next few days. |

And I thought I was being a little risqué! My mate managed to set himself on fire with it, and my shoes, and the bar, and my friend. Screams all round. Funny as hell, but the sugar burned him pretty bad. A little sorry looking the next few days. I do hope that his wedding tackle was not damaged so he would still be able to enjoy his daily/weekly/monthly/annual game of "hide the sausage." (he said, desperately trying to bring this thread back onto the topic.):stare: |

| 722025 | 2008-11-24 02:09:00 | There's altogether too much prissiness in this thread about the age old pastime of HTS. Quite frankly there is nothing wrong with it unless hidden in the wrong type of wrapper, though it is generally accepted that that is an alternative option for those of that bent. Played according to the orthodox rules, no problems should arise for either player unless one decides to hide it off site in a location disapproved of by their regular partner, propose multi-player or team events, or indulge in it as a spectator sport. In such cases the game may be banned for quite some time, or even forbidden on a permanent basis. Provided the rules of engagement are agreed before the game begins, it is an ideal way to while away a quiet evening when there's nothing on the box, and although practising is frowned upon, even in the privacy of your own home, it can be quite beneficial and improve game duration. Cheers Billy 8-{) :drool |
