723138 2008-11-26 08:32:00 How stupid are the people at ASB??

basic internet security says
* don't trust email from your bank.
* don't click on links in email.

and here we have a group called touchpoint, who are doing an email distrubtion for ASB.

so we have an email with a fake/odd from address.
it asking us to click on a link and the login.

ASB gets this years award for doing the least for security.

723139 2008-11-26 09:11:00 Thats bright - or should be lack of security.

I bank with westpac and they sent out some sort of account guff the other day, but at least they had the brains to put in "Enquire at your branch" or phone us on 0800 ????? (whatever the westpac 0800 number was)
