835644 2009-12-02 02:54:00 Hey

Does anyone know how? I've been trying lots and nothing appears to be working.

I tried this as well, which is suppose to work for most songs.. and it doesn't work for any I've tried.

www.instructables.com

Please direct or guide me otherwise. Songs I want to remove lyrics from are:
Food Glorious Food -Oliver
Summer Holidays -Cliff Richard
Sound of Music -Maria (I think)

Any help would be appreciated!

835647 2009-12-02 03:51:00 Only tried it on one song, wasn't easy - ended up getting the music from a person who runs a karaoke business.

I'll look and see if they have those songs.

Other wise Look through these options (www.google.co.nz) -- I just removed the damn software earlier this week I used as well :crying Always the way

Didn't know you could.
Now that I do I may actually take an interest in more music now.

835650 2009-12-02 06:26:00 It only works for stereo recording, and depends if the vocals are equal level and phase in each channel. It is not possible to remove vocals from mono recordings.

It would be great to remove some of the dreadful vocals from old 78rpm recordings, especially the era when they felt they had to sing falsetto, like pseudo eunuchs :)

audacity.sourceforge.net

That's the same as the one I found. I do that, and I get no audio at all. LOL

Perhaps it just cannot be done. Bugger.

And some more modern ones where they think screaming is tuneful.
