| 724110 | 2008-11-29 18:26:00 | The year seems to go faster when there's exams at the end. :annoyed: But it has been a good year for me - highlight of the year was probably the trip to Japan. |

| 724113 | 2008-11-29 20:15:00 | Been a stressful year getting our new product patented and designed and manufactured. But we are up and running now. Just in time for the world economic crash. Lets hope we all keep our jobs (and lets hope I don't need one) next year. |

We all have trying times, but once you accept that life is going on around you, you just have to get on with it. Be happy for all the good times that you have had with freinds and family. I for one would rather have the hurt than never having had them in my life. Keep Smiling HH |

I believe this happens because as each year passes, it represents a smaller proportion of your life. So while we are above ground we have to make the most of what we have. 2008 was a good year. New government, new house, new job which is 4 days/week (actually first job in 12 years after being self-employed). Still haven't won lotto, but it doesn't stop me trying. Gotta stay positive! :) |

| 724116 | 2008-11-29 21:46:00 | It's not over yet! But it has been a pretty big year for me as well. Like rob we had our first baby, born 7th May, changing our lives forever in a great way. Business moved from being at home to having a building in town and since then has been getting busier all the time. Hopefully will have enough work soon to hire someone. Wife has started her own business as well, importing and selling equine grooming and care products. Brother has joined a band playing the bass and they recorded their first song! karl_on_bass :D Looking forward to next year. Youngest sister is getting married in Jan. Hopefully we will have enough money for a deposit on a new house/land so we can move out of this rental. |
