Check out the Avast Forums for more info. Too late unfortunately. I now have to turn off Avast in order to run an important program controlling a door security system. I am most pissed off and may change from Avast if they don't sort it out. |

2009-12-03 06:23:00 | just updated my Avast and no issues there but it did pick up wordweb as a trojan.. | ronyville (10611) | |
2009-12-03 06:57:00 | Okayyyyyyy - so how do I get the so-called infected files back out of the Virus Chest?? :help: | R.M. (561) | |
2009-12-03 07:12:00 | Yes I have this problem, my main operating system won't load, luckily I have a complete but month old backup, plenty of updating to do after a restore with Acronis. Damn. Looks as if System Folder is completely empty when I check with a subsidiary operating system I have on another drive. What a nuisance. I thought Avast was giving me a whole lot of false positives.

2009-12-03 07:31:00 | Re Okayyyyyyy - so how do I get the so-called infected files back out of the Virus Chest?? I don't have anyfiles in my Virus Chest at the moment but the way I think it works is Start Avast from the Start menu Entry. Choose the chest then right click the file and choose restore.
