726368 2008-12-07 01:33:00 Hi, the repair cost are more than the value of the car.

With that broken, to demist / defog windows, would it still work or is that the specific job of the aircon? Ie., possible to demist with warm/hot air with the aircon broken.

Cheers

726369 2008-12-07 02:00:00 Hot / fresh air should demist quite happily, although not as swiftly as dried air from the AC. It will however, make the petrol pumps further apart when the AC is disabled. R2x1 (4628)
726370 2008-12-07 02:40:00 Husbands aircon died a year ago. His windscreen still demists fine. Just ignore it and go back to manual aircon. The one to the side............. pctek (84)
726371 2008-12-07 02:47:00 The default air-handling in MOST automobiles is to go straight to defrost . This is if everything fails and the AC and the heater loses vacuum source (NZ= Nature's abhorrence thing-y) and electrical supply (NZ= lightning in the wires) .

If something breaks, heater or AC-wise that is - then you can at least get the windshield (NZ= insect blocker) cleared of fog and moisture, albeit a little less efficiently than if the AC is drying the air before it gets blasted on the glass (NZ= magic, clear stuff) .

You will have all the heating options, fresh air if the system is equipped so, and the opportunity to blend the air to your feet (NZ= hooves), arms/torso (NZ= ?) and also send a proportion of the admixed air to the windshield at varying temperatures from too hot to too cold . But heck - the warm season is coming to Upsidedown Land and you don't need any of the above except for the cooling part . . . . and the vehicle too .

726375 2008-12-08 06:53:00 Well...I personally drink the Mexican lagers like Dos Eques and Negro Modello. Tecate Dark is good and the best is Tres Eques, which is very had to find in the states.

Heineken and Beck's and even Mickey Loudmouth is all pretty poor here. Killian's is urine, even cold.

I also like the San Miguel, but the US version is a little lower on proof than the Filipino stuff.
