| 837979 | 2009-12-09 00:03:00 | I now have the new version called Windows Live I had no chiuce but to upgrade. It drops the connection to Messenger right when you are chatting for no reason. You log in again lasts a while then bang gooes off again. It has only happended since the new version. I use it at different locations so it is not the connection problem. Any ideas perhaps settings or??? Thanks. |

| 837980 | 2009-12-09 00:06:00 | Welcome to the PF1 Forums :) Did you simply upgrade messenger to Live ?? If so you may need to completely uninstall the old messenger first, then install the new Live. Its possible the upgrade didn't go correctly. |

| 837983 | 2009-12-09 03:30:00 | I noticed that happening when I was talking to my daughter in Aus. She had upgraded and kept disconnecting all over the place. Try using aMSN. Works well and I've never had it disconnect. You don't have to put up with forced updates from Microsoft either. aMSN (http://www.amsn-project.net/) |
