2009-12-07 01:10:00 | Hi all I just followed a link to a newsletter I subscribe to its a pdf and about 1mb in size (I think) www.harpercollins.co.nz But it crashed my browser (Latest stable FF), also tried it in IE6 and it crashed that as well. Just want to make sure its their end and not my browser or adobe reader plugin Thanks and apologies (if your browser crashes) in advance edit------------------------------------------- Hmmm just tested loading it directly in Adobe reader and it crashed that

2009-12-07 01:31:00 | well I have the latest version, and i haven't had a prob with any other pdfs But yes i am guessing thats the problem I just tried it in Chrome, and rather than the browser crashing, it came up with a message saying acrobat plugin had crashed

2009-12-07 02:14:00 | I am trying out Sumatra, I used foxit a few years ago but it had issues with a lot of pdfs and from memory links didn't work, or has that changed

2009-12-07 02:27:00 | Update foxit once you install it, with the firefox plugin. Then it should work. You can also install this (timheuer.com). If you get pdf files in outlook 2007, you can preview them straight away | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2009-12-07 03:36:00 | Ok sumatra worked fine however one of the links didn't work so I found and updated foxit on my system (bit worried that it said it needed to download 3.9451 terabytes of updates) see pic Attached file: foxit.gif (www.imagef1.net.nz) (8 KB) Foxit does seem to have improved a bit since I last used it
