837001 2009-12-07 00:05:00 Have a Canon ip3000 and W7 installed it and it works fine – use it for general printing and CD printing.
Today opened Canon CD-LabelPrint and the only printer showing is the other Canon that have – ip4600 and it won’t take the disk holder that have – grrrrrrrrr!!
Why won’t CD-LabelPrint show up the ip3000?!!!
Thanks

837003 2009-12-07 05:54:00 Have you got the Vista 64 bit driver that's what I use on my ip3000 with win 7 64bit. I even run my printer through a combo switch print server gary67 (56)
837004 2009-12-07 19:53:00 The ip3000 printer works fine on every other application – Word, Excel etc – just does not show up as a printer for Canon CD-LabelPrint!! stuffed (1469)
837005 2009-12-07 20:24:00 From what I read, the Canon ip3000 desn't have the capability to print onto CD/DVD labels :) Zippity (58)
837006 2009-12-07 20:33:00 Worked fine on my old XP machine! stuffed (1469)

Many reviews of Canon printers are from the US and Canon doesn't CD print in that market. Some patent issue, they don't want to pay royalties.
