725616 2008-12-06 20:03:00 Bob Jones used to say there are two rules for investment.
1. Location location etc
2. Dont invest in aviation.

725617 2008-12-06 20:08:00 I can't see the need for a National airline. Most airlines seem to spend the their time on the point of bankruptcy.
An open air policy in NZ would give us better pricing I am sure.
An open air policy for NZ Airlines would be alright in summer perhaps, but not too popular for longer trips in winter. Snow discourages many Tiger Moth passengers.

The origin of that was not Jones.

725624 2008-12-07 20:43:00 Remember, Ford is in the least worst position out of the 3. They are not in immediate danger of going bankrupt, they have enough cash reserves to see them through next year unlike GM and Chrysler. beeswax34 (63)
