| 725472 | 2008-12-05 06:46:00 | Mrs Misty - who has problems like this for breakfast - says your approach is impeccable ! :D Misty Thanks Misty (say hi to Mrs Misty for me :p). I know I had to make the explanation as simple as possible because bk T has the job of passing on the explanation to his daughter, therefore I decided to do the long way by showing all the differences until they coincide with bk T's values. I could have easily opted for simultaneous equations to solve the problem, but I will face the risk of miscommunication. :) |

| 725475 | 2008-12-05 08:49:00 | PS. Unless the rules are changed, all ducks are female. At last, somebody who can see beyond math. Since one leg are both the same, there is no need for an equation, and male ducks are called drakes. The answers were written below my original post in white lettering, highlight to read. Mrs T and I will be setting off in the morning for a little weekend R&R and we plan to practice our simultaneous equations while away. :wub:wub See you for Monday laughs......... Cheers Billy 8-{) |
