727207 2008-12-10 22:13:00 In Bruges

Wall-E

Dark Knight

Iron Man

But I think "Freddy Got Fingered" still holds the title for best movie ever.

Worst goes to Vantage Point.

727208 2008-12-11 02:14:00 Was "No Country for Old Men" a 2008 release in NZ? If so, that's my pick.

But "In Bruges" was pretty good too.

727209 2008-12-11 06:11:00 "Gone, Baby, Gone" was probably the best directed. Quite stunning !
You heard it first here that Ben Affleck will probably be as good or better a director than Speilberg (for he isn't a good actor that's for sure !).

Ronald Reagan was a second rate actor -- but a pretty good President. Ben Affleck was a second rate actor but the potential of a great director !

Just remember that Misty said it first !! :) :)

The 1957 (www.imdb.com) version or the 2007 (www.imdb.com) version?

727212 2008-12-11 06:55:00 A friend's home video of a grandson demonstrating bicycle stunts was quite amusing. The explanation of new dents in Dad's car was not so convincing. R2x1 (4628)

I agree - "Gone Baby, Gone" was an exceptional film. Definitely one of the best of the year.
