| 838152 | 2009-12-13 01:25:00 | How do I disable System Restore? >< and also, do I select all the options under Utilities BEFORE I do the scan? | Euphian (15501) | ||
| 838153 | 2009-12-13 01:30:00 | Hold ctrl+pause down, then go to the restore tab untick it. Doesnt matter you can scan then select all the options under utilities, or the other way round. | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
| 838154 | 2009-12-13 01:36:00 | Basically, what I would do in this situation is.. Install and Update Spybot/Malwarebytes/Trojan Remover - if you cannot update on the PC, get the offline databases from their respective sites. Run all 3 in safe mode, and do not stop them. Run them all serpately, and if so, scan one per night for the next 3 days. If nothing turns up, good. If there is, please log them and post them here, but get rid of them. When you have done so, Trojan Remover has come utilities that may in fact help. Open the program>open Utilities Tab> Reset all policies and options available. Does it fix it? Still, download the new versions of I.E, Firefox, and Google Chrome. Install. Report back about what works, and what doesn't. Also do another ping check via cmd window, and report that as well. Then we know where we stand. |
