Well, if you are using genuine Windows, it won't be pesky to you .

838164 2009-12-09 20:44:00 The computer would have to be connected to the net tho wouldnt it?? Since, when you scan a system, it sends whatever you're scanning back to panda?

Then it'll tell you if whatever is infected . What happens if youre not connected to the net?? It probably wont update, or scan properly .

838165 2009-12-10 04:54:00 I personally haven't heard much about it, except that it has a rather easy interface and fresh look. Heh.

Don't know if that is any use to you.

Yes a different type of scanner, maybe you could test it?

It complained here as I have NOD installed already . It looked very interesting in terms of a Free scanner when compared with MSE . But without the WGA check

Interesting pcworld rated it the best

"Panda Cloud Antivirus was the best app at blocking known malware . However, its work-in-progress status and its unique methods kept us from ranking it on our free antivirus software chart"

838167 2009-12-10 11:13:00 I'm using MSE at the mo. There are reviews online about Panda. Some of them are pretty good Speedy Gonzales (78)
838168 2009-12-11 03:03:00 A work pc with MSE running on it got infected the other day by another pc that was networked to it.

Not impressed!

838169 2009-12-11 03:06:00 I dont think MSE works too good across a network. Avast may have found whatever it was. Since it has the option Speedy Gonzales (78)
