| 838029 | 2009-12-09 00:07:00 | I have a Laptop with Win XP and desktop with Vista and need to backup data to a external hard drive I primarily want to backup user profiles (every subfolder/file) from both laptop and desktop on to the Ext hdd. Also the hdd on laptop is partioned and has a "d" drive in which i have some data too under few folders What is the easiest and quickest way of backing this up routinely say every month? It doesnt have to be fully automated i.e i can initiate it manually and let it do it. I dont want to use Windows backup. I prefer little batch file that i can run and it will do it. Is this easy to do? or even a third party software provided its free Any other tips would be great |
