728798 2008-12-13 21:56:00 Hi All

Has anyone got a Dragon Naturally that they have no use for?

One that you don't use.

An older version if you have upgraded to a newer one.

A new version 10 at Dick Smiths is about $325. Not even Father Christmas would pressie me one of those!!! PJ

728799 2008-12-13 22:04:00 I know someone who "may" have one - wont be seeing her till later this week though - she "may" want to part with it as its totally hopeless she says - wont do what she wants and is never working correctly.

I don't know if its Operator trouble or the PC just not capable of running it correctly.

Thats one feature I like in Vista - the inbuilt Speech Recognition - works good.

728803 2008-12-14 00:07:00 Hi PJ. Voice recognition is a free part of my Vista Home Premium. I use it frequently and it now recognises my way of talking really well. I had a much earlier version of Dragon (I believe it it now about version 10 or even highter) and, without a doubt, the Vista is far easier to use does a far better job. I recently dictated, party translated and edited a grandmother's papers/diaries, sitting back comfortably in an easy chair. Certainly beats typing. Scouse (83)
