| 838322 | 2009-12-10 05:19:00 | Yeah, could be addons. As well as from Anti-Viruses or toolbar crap.. However, Firefox databases get a lil full and unorganized sometimes.. Personally I would save bookmarks, uninstall it, get rid of every folder and file part of mozzila. Download the newest one, install and weeee...? AND/OR download speedyfox and Pa-Ching! Firefox is speedy again! www.crystalidea.com OR, be a traitor and get google chrome which is ultimate PwNaGE! in speed, however issues with addons and flash... but.. very fast. Good luck. :P |

| 838323 | 2009-12-10 08:58:00 | You could try this, go to Tools-Options Advanced, clear cache and reduce the offline storage to 25 to 50MB. I forget what the default for this storage is, a few hundred MB I think, and this can slow FF, it is too big anyway. Firefox should start up a bit faster, especially the first time it is started up after starting Windows. |
