838321 2009-12-10 04:57:00 Could be addons. What addons have you installed? Altho 3.5.5 is slow on this sometimes when it loads. It does lag a bit Speedy Gonzales (78)
838322 2009-12-10 05:19:00 Yeah, could be addons. As well as from Anti-Viruses or toolbar crap..

However, Firefox databases get a lil full and unorganized sometimes..

Personally I would save bookmarks, uninstall it, get rid of every folder and file part of mozzila. Download the newest one, install and weeee...?

AND/OR download speedyfox and Pa-Ching! Firefox is speedy again!

OR, be a traitor and get google chrome which is ultimate PwNaGE! in speed, however issues with addons and flash... but.. very fast.

Good luck. :P

838323 2009-12-10 08:58:00 You could try this, go to Tools-Options Advanced, clear cache and reduce the offline storage to 25 to 50MB.
I forget what the default for this storage is, a few hundred MB I think, and this can slow FF, it is too big anyway.
Firefox should start up a bit faster, especially the first time it is started up after starting Windows.
