| 838219 | 2009-12-10 03:13:00 | There is also - Seagates Discwizard (www.seagate.com) - Basically a free simple version of the Acronis true Image (www.acronis.com) - But that is a paid one and you can do a lot more. Theres also Paragon Drive Copy - thats the one I use a LOT - there are often free versions (SE) of it floating about on places like giveawayoftheday. Theres also Easeus Disk Copy (www.easeus.com) from the same place SolMiester advised about the Todo. Note: I did try the todo a couple of times when it first came out - wasn't that good and failed more times than it worked - hopefully they have improved it now. It said it had cloned, but when trying to restore it failed. No good if an image wont install /re-image back. Out of the lot above the one I use most is Paragon - only time its ever failed is when the original drive was dieing - and finally carked it while it was cloning. |
