728912 2008-12-15 22:01:00 Contradiction here, Rob .

Bottle of JW + microphone + guitar + Rob <> 'quiet' !!!!

Unless it's a comparative statement . . . Perhaps you meant "quieter than last year" .

In which case, the mind boggles .

Its a scarey thought, just means this year will be the first year Ill be spending xmas alone . So Im going to build a makeshift studio over the break .

728915 2008-12-15 22:21:00 For a few extra bucks you could get a Viewsonic VX2240W 22". Zero bright pixel warranty - through Ascent....

Just have a quick search, NZ OC Zone is selling this at $289.90 + GST - just a few xtra bucks!

Is NZ OC Zone a shop to buy from?

I've bought a couple of things from them, most expensive a $300 E6750 last year. The CPU arrived within 12 hours of payment. Although, I never had to make any warranty claim, so I don't know that side of them.

728919 2008-12-16 00:16:00 I was planning on buying myself an Xbox 360 instead of having to use my sons lol . Probably won't though . More important things to spend my money on . Sadly my son has never brought me a birthday or Christmas pressy so I guess I am S**t out of luck .

Hoping for at least a cup of coffee in bed for my birthday though . . . . . fingers crossed . :stare:

I am planning on a quiet Christmas . I am going to fire up my sad little BBQ for only the 2nd time for Christmas tea with my son . I have recently found out I am not very good at doing BBQs so it should be very interesting . :yuck:

728920 2008-12-16 04:21:00 For the family:
Mum a new fridge during the year which is her birthday and christmas present done together because it cost me so much money.:D

Dad a new lcd tv and a freeview box with hdmi:cool: for his birthday and christmas present done together because it cost me so much money.

(Thinking about getting them a home theater system to finish it off for them as well or I might get that for them in the new year/later on in the year.

Grandma one of those $50.00 electric jar openers that opens a jar for you from the warehouse, some carpet slippers,$50.00 book token and some chocolate.:)

Me:I will buy a new game and play that along with all my other games I have not had enough time to play during the year.

Spend time with family - (when I have to that is,nar just kidding I love my family .)
