728094 2008-12-12 21:34:00 Full HD Stickers mean that the computer is capable of Full HD Output, either through the VGA/DVI port or the HDMI Out

But that's still a massive resolution for a screen :O

Go back and give him crap

Anyway, who needs salesmen? You're a pressf1 member, all the salesmen you need are right here :D Well the ones that will give you an honest opinion and help you and not the company you're buying from :)

Sound thinking Mab.

728096 2008-12-13 06:24:00 I despise with a vengeance all sales people who "know everything" and cant admit their own limitations... I *really* hate it!

Anyway, maccrazy is right, thats the resolution of Full HD. The laptop screen itself does a pretty decent res, but its not HD.
Have a look at the bottom of that page that you link to though, it talks about the HDMI output (HDMI Output to your large screen Full HD BRAVIA), which Im presuming would be the case.. So whilst it supports Full HD, it wont natively display it, you'll need a Full HD TV and a HDMI cable.

When you see TV's labelled as "HD" or "HDTV Ready", it usually means they can display a res of 1280x720 or higher. Many of the "HD-Ready" TV's do a max res of 1280x768 or 1366x768, useful for input from a laptop / pc.
