Years ago you used to get head and shoudlers, now you just get head. Soon if this trend continues we will get just face, then in a few more years nose and we will be treated to a full screen of the interviewees nostrils ! This was brought home to me the other day when watching a DVD documentary on British history. It showed re-enactment of Roman soldiers marching along and fighting. All you saw were their faces and down to their chest. No top of the helmet and no tunics, legs or boots etc. Why is this ? I want to see their uniforms etc. Is it just the film makers and editors showing off at their new style ? We know they know have higher quaility cameras and lenses (but so do I) |
